Spanish courses on Margarita Island Venezuela

Cela, Centro de Lingüística Aplicada, is a small Spanish language school on Margarita Island in the Caribbean.

Qualified Spanish lessons are offered in combination with free excursions to beaches and other places on this wonderful Caribbean Island.

Salsa dance lessons, and a Venezuelan cooking course complement the experience of Venezuelan culture.

On Margarita Island, there are more than 50 amazing beaches. Each one of them is different from the other, and offer a lot of options for relaxing, practicing water sports, and swimming.

Cela is owned and managed by Sabina Loffler, Doctor in Hispanic Linguistics and Master in Education.

Spanish courses at Cela fulfill the suggestions of the European Framework for Language Learning, and the syllabus is oriented according to the program of the Instituto Cervantes, taking into consideration the particularities of  Spanish in Latin America.

Cela is also an official examination centre for DIE (Diploma Internacional de Español).

3 times a week a member of the school's staff departs with students to the excursions which are included in the course fee.

Cela Spanish School provides accommodation in local host families, close to the school for improving the Spanish learning process.

The Spanish classes at Cela are held in small groups from 2 to 7 students in each class. There are 6 levels from A1 to C2. Students with no knowledge of Spanish are warmly welcome. One-to-one Spanish lessons are perfect for those students who want to progress at their own pace.

Cela also offers Spanish language courses for special purposes like:medicine, law, and business, designed for students with an intermediate Spanish level and professional needs.

Spanish teachers can participate in special training courses about Spanish teaching.
