Learn Spanish in the Caribbean in small groups all year round. Cela Spanish School offers Spanish courses for 5 levels, and also Spanish courses for special purposes such as medicine, law, and business. The Spanish courses are offered in small groups, with a maximum of 7 participants. It is also possible to book one on one lessons.

The school is small and personal and is located in Playa El Angel one of the best areas of Isla Margarita, far from the touristic places. Cela was founded in 1997.The director and owner of the  Spanish school is Dr. Sabine Loffler, PhD in Spanish Language of the UNED in Madrid, Spain. She also has a master´s degree in education and before founding Cela, she taught Spanish at German Universities. Dr. Loffler has been teaching Spanish for 20 years. The staff of Cela Spanish School composes of 5 teachers including Dr. Loffler, all with university degree, most of them multilingual and Spanish native speakers.

Margarita Island is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, only 30 minutes away from Venezuela's mainland.

The Spanish immersion program at Cela was developed for maximum improvement of the Spanish language in the shortest possible time, and is based on a very large experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Because of Cela's participation in many congresses about language teaching and learning around the world, we are always up to date in modern language teaching methodology. 

Our Spanish courses also include 3 excursions per week (mostly wonderful beaches) and accommodation in a host family on Isla Margarita (optional). We highly recommend the accommodation in Venezuelan host families, because it will reinforce our work in the classroom through practise of the Spanish language in a natural social environment.

From Margarita Island you can easily book excursions to Mérida, Angel Falls, Los Roques, Gran Sabana, and other popular places in Venezuela. The island is the perfect place to practice windsurfing and kitesurfing.
