Margarita Island is one of the few islands in the Caribbean where Spanish is spoken. The standard courses at Cela comprise 25 lessons per week for US$ 250. Three excursions per week to the beatiful beaches and other sights in a van with airconditiong are included in the course fee. The groups are small with amaximum of 7 participants (usually between 2 and 5). The Spanish courses at Cela are the best way for combining holidays with language learning.

The teaching staff is highly qualified. Dr. Sabina Loffler, the owner and director of the school, has a PhD in liguistics from the UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia) in Spain and a master's degree in Distance learning and teaching and in adult education. She regularly participates in congresses abroad and in investigation projects about language learning and teaching. Our courses are tailor-made according to the needs and interets of the students. Nevertheless, a 2 weeks course at Cela is more or less equivalent to one semester Spanish at an university or similar institution.

At Cela you can take the DIE (Diploma Internacional de Español) which is available in 10 levels of proficiency.

There are different accommodation options, lika a host family, apartment or hotel.
