Dentro del grupo de los verbos irregulares son muy importantes los verbos que terminan en -ocer, -ucir y -ecer.
In the irregular verb group, the verbs that have the endings -ocer, -ucir, and -ecer are very important.

Nótese que la primera persona singular tiene conjugación irregular terminada en -zco, mientras que las otras personas se conjugan de forma normal para la respectiva conjugación.
Note that the first person singular has the irregular ending form -zco, while the rest of the persons have the regular conjugation according to their conjugation group.
