A trip to the most wonderful natural destinations in Venezuela is an excellent choice for going after the Spanish course at CELA.
There are many well-known travel agencies that are very efficient and organizing. They offer you wonderful excursions all around Venezuela.
The travel agency Autana has an excellent attention and many of their customers are from Venezuela which makes it a great opportunity for our students to share with Venezuelans and of course to take their touristic excursions. The excursion to Angel falls, 3 days and 2 nights is a fantastic option if you have free time after the courses.
Autana also offers the following excursions:
Delta del Orinoco: excursion of 2 or 3 nights. It is an almost virgin destiny. On this trip you will see the different rivers that are part of Orinoco Delta. You will go on boats, will fish piranhas and will observe the interesting fauna in the region. The excursion's departure is from Maturin.
Visit la Gran Sabana, home of Pemon Indians: walk through La Gran Sabana or go around by Jeep. For 4 days and 3 nights enjoy La Gran Sabana. You can leave from Ciudad Bolivar or Puerto Ordaz.
Autana 4 days and 3 nights on a trip to the tepuyes (flat mountains) in La Gran Sabana, Amazon: sail on the river Sipapo to the river Autana. Visit Indian communities, walk through the jungle. It departs from Puerto Ayacucho.
Roraima 6 days and 5 nights: trek to Roraima through La Gran Sabana. Stay overnight in tents. It leaves from Santa Elena de Uairen.
Rafting in Barinas: 3 days and 2 nights or 2 days and 1 night. This excursion is for the months between May and October. Everybody can be part of this, you don't need special abilities. Its departure is from Barinas.
Hato Cristero in the Venezuelan plains: it is ideal for those who love flora and fauna. It departs from Barinas.
Los Roques: trips of one day or a couple of days to the beautiful archipelago Los Roques a marine paradise.
