Teaching Spanish
Several times a year, CELA Spanish School on Margarita Island, organizes seminars for teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language. The course is taught by Sabine Loffler, director of CELA and PhD in Hispanic Philology by UNED in Madrid, director of the school.
The course has work shop character and accounts for 50 academic hours in 2 weeks of duration.

- General aspects of teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE).
- Main teaching models and the foreign language learning.
- Cooperative learning techniques.
- Assessment and preparation of materials.
- Course planning.
- Development of communicative activities in the classroom.
- Distant teaching and learning of ELE.
- Learning process and assessment techniques.
- International exams for Spanish
The course is destined for Spanish Teachers, Language and Philology students of the last semester with interest in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Minimum of participants: 3

Cost:
Course without housing facilities for two weeks: 600US$
Host family housing, private room, breakfast and dinner 224 US$ per week
