Spanish and cooking
Learning by doing. Practice the vocabulary of cooking in Spanish, preparing delicious recipes of Venezuelan cuisine. On a weekend day we dedicate ourselves to cooking recipes. The recipes are in Spanish. We read the recipes, clarify the vocabulary and follow the instructions. Communication is only in Spanish. All students cook and give instructions to their assistants. We will prepare the following dishes: arepas and empanadas and huevo perico for breakfast. After making breakfast we continue with the quesillo (dessert) and 2 main dishes: the pabellón criollo and pastel de chucho, typical dish of the kitchen of the island of Margarita.We will enjoy a delicious lunch in which we will eat the prepared dishes.At the end of the course, students receive a certificate.The cost is the cost of the ingredients.
