The online Spanish course C2 is aimed at students with a high proficiency in the Spanish language who express themselves fluently and correctly, have a good understanding of the vast majority of Spanish speakers and also wish to achieve a more formal use of the language.
Students who have completed the C1 level at CELA can continue studying with this course.
The course is ideal for bilingual students and students who have Spanish as their heritage language and wish to practice more Spanish, as well.
For new students we first do a placement test to make sure that the C2 course is indeed the most appropriate course for them.
The C2 online Spanish course consists of 12 lessons with written explanations, explanatory video lessons, audio-visual comprehension videos, interesting texts, exercises with solutions and free production exercises to be sent to the course teacher.
The feedback from the teacher is continuous by e-mail and whats app, Signal or Telegram.

- El sentido literal y el sentido figurado. Las metáforas. Las metáforas con animales. Proverbios en español. Los animales. Descripción de un animal. La tilde y la entonación (repaso)
- Los diminutivos y su función en español. La deixis. Los aumentativos y superlativos. El régimen preposicional. Preposiciones por y para (repaso). La redundancia en español.
- El arte de la conversación. Repaso del estilo indirecto. El cambio lingüístico. La gente mayor. El artículo de opinión.
- El cuerpo y la mente. Las emociones, sensaciones y sentimientos. Expresiones en español con las partes del cuerpo. Contraste modo indicativo/modo subjuntivo (repaso).
- La narración. Repaso de la diferencia entre ser y estar en los tiempos del pasado. El gerundio como adverbio. Narrar en el pasado. Diferentes funciones de “se”.
- La música. Los géneros musicales hispanos. Biografías. ¿Por qué se nos pega una canción? ¿Cómo se compone una canción? La salsa. La poesía. Los trabalenguas.
- El humor. El verbo reír en todos los tiempos. Contraste reír/reírse. Expresiones sobre la risa y el humor. El sentido del humor y la cultura. Cantinflas, Mafalda y Les Luthiers. El humor gráfico. El símil o comparación.
- La moda. Impacto ambiental de la industria de la moda. Formas impersonales en español (repaso). Expresiones con la ropa. Frases célebres. Aconsejar y recomendar en español (repaso).
- La sostenibilidad. Verbos de cambio y transformación. El huerto urbano. Iniciativas ambientales. La argumentación. Estrategias de aprendizaje.
Course duration:
You can choose the start and progression of your course and work at your own pace. Each level has 12 lessons. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate from our school for the appropriate level.
